In a perfect world we would prefer for you to collect your puppy from our location, however, we realize that we do not live in a perfect world and that sometimes we do have to ship puppies within the U.S.

When required, we ship from Nashville, TN (Airport Code BNA) and we use Delta Airlines or Northwest Airlines.

Puppies cannot leave home, when flying, until they are at least eight weeks of age. Flights cannot be booked more than seven days in advance of the travel date and they cannot fly at temperatures above 80 degrees or below 20 degrees. We will provide the health certificate from the Veterinarian for the flight. We will also provide the travel crate which includes a bowl for food and water during the journey. The Cairn Terrier crate is classed by the airlines as "small" and is approx 24" x 24" x 18" in size and for Irish Wolfhounds a "large" crate which is in the #400 series.

We will work with you to arrange a flight that suits you best. When a flight has been agreed upon we will book the flight and email you with the flight times and numbers as well as the confirmation code and price. As of January 2007 the average cost of a flight for a Cairn Terrier puppy was $195.00 and for an Irish Wolfhound puppy $450.00.

We will call you when the puppy has been booked onto the plane.

When collecting your puppy you will need to visit the CARGO desk of the chosen airline and take a photo I.D. with you. The airlines accept cash, and usually check or credit card, but it is your responsibility to confirm this before you leave home!, and you will be responsible for paying for the flight before your puppy is released. If paying by cash please make sure you have the correct amount as they rarely have small change. It is a good idea to arrive at the airport at the same time that the plane is scheduled to land so that you can complete the paperwork before your puppy arrives.
